First time out was a short trip. It took us longer to get 10 miles from home than it did the other 80+. Traffic in the city can be a bear.

Second time on the freeway with a 38 foot tail and stuck in a traffic jam 5 miles long, 4 lanes down to one, trying to get over. Fortunately there are kind folks on the road everywhere.

Trip to Thousand Trails Tawakoni went well. Learned a few things:
- ask if they have 50 amp service, if we need it
- ask if the site have full hookups, most did the public ones did not
- check clearance for awning, if you want to put it out
- chock the wheels before putting out the slide
- wear gloves when opening electric panel, mud daubers can sting you know
- bring your own entertainment, a book or ???
- it's easy to laze the day away if you have a great companion and a good book
- we have a new laundry list of todos/to gets
