We were searching for some kind of crock pot recipe that we could use to server our hosts a nice dinner. So, where else do you look, the RV forums of course. Found the Best pot roast ever, at least that is what it was called. It did live up to its name.
If interested, Google "the best pot roast ever for a slow cooker". It will show up. It takes a packet or two each of Italian seasonings, ranch dressing mix, brown gravy and the roast.
We did find out what it's like to live 15 mins from the nearest grocery store. We city folk do get spoiled being just a couple mins away.
