Another lazy day.
We drove out to the Hereford area. One might call this a one
horse town, but I’m not sure the horse lives there anymore. Hereford is an area
where Leroy’s folks first set up ranching and lived before moving to Minnesota.
He recalls traveling what seemed forever to get there and finding the post
office, gas pump and soda pop machine and the couple that lived in what was
deemed to be the hamlet of Hereford. These days we are not sure if the post
office exists there or note. There is a Hereford country church and community
hall. Of course this is still big ranching/farming country.
We were surprised to find the main road out has been paved.
Perhaps it has been for several years…
Still cloudy at night, no meteorites.
